Small businesses usually ask the wrong question about AI. Instead of “how do I start with this”, ask “which specific thing I do every week will this shorten”. The answer is almost always the same: the first draft.

Where AI helps immediately

  • First drafts of posts, emails and service descriptions — never the final version.
  • Transcription and summary: turn a fifteen-minute voice note into web copy.
  • Variant generation: ten headlines, from which you pick one.
  • Translation into Czech or English with a human check.

Where AI hurts

Prices, promises, references and numbers are never machine-generated. If AI invents that you have “over 200 satisfied clients” and you publish it, you lose trust with the first person who asks for detail. AI also cannot fake expertise you do not have — the text will sound confident and be wrong.

AI makes the first version. A human signs the final one. That rule alone solves 90% of the problems.

The minimum setup that works

Write one document: what the business does, for whom, in what tone, five sentences you would never say, and three prices or facts that must not change. Paste that into every brief. The difference between output with and without it is bigger than the difference between AI tools.

The pre-publish check

  • Are all facts and numbers verified?
  • Does it sound like you, or like a brochure?
  • Is there one clear thing the reader should do?
  • Would you read it out loud to a customer without wincing?

If it passes all four, it can go out. If it does not, the tool is not the problem.
